Alejandra Palacios Created: February 25, 2021 06:16 PM Community Action Duluth is launching a new service to help those struggling with food insecurity called the Mobile Market. It's described as a grocery store on wheels. The refrigerated truck will be stocked with fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy products and more for sale that people can pre-order online ahead of time. It will come to three locations throughout each month. "We've seen even pre COVID-19 that low income communities, communities of color, experienced food insecurity at a higher rate and that's just been exacerbated by COVID-19 and so this is just one opportunity to try and address those issues," said Evan Flom, program manager for Seeds of Success at Community Action Duluth.
