Last week, the court froze the appointment of Likud’s Ofir Akunis to the Justice Ministry, leading Netanyahu to concede to his political rival and allow Benny Gantz to serve as justice minister. Under orders from the court that the remaining ministerial positions could not remain unfilled, Netanyahu committed to fill them no later than 4:00 P.M. on Monday.
