Complaint Filed Against Sonu Sood By BMC For Converting Residential Building Into A Hotel; Actor Appealing To Court Against It

After Kangana Ranaut, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has become the new target for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The BMC has now filed a complaint against the actor for converting a residential building into a hotel without obtaining the necessary permissions.

The BMC has filed a complaint to the Juhu Police under the Maharashtra Region and Town Planning (MRTP) Act. The statement by BMC read, "It has been found that Sonu Sood has instituted/commenced/undertaken/carried out development or changed the user of land. Unauthorised addition/alterations beyond the approved plan and unauthorised change of user from residential to residential hotel building without taking technical sanction from the competent authority." It further alleged that unauthorised developments were carried out even after a notice was served to him.
