Victorians woke to day 2 of the state’s snap lockdown on Sunday, with 16 new locally acquired cases, from 53,283 tests.
All of them are linked to current outbreaks, but an extra one was already added to the tally by the afternoon.
The Mildura man’s test results only came back positive at 10 am, Sunday morning with the state’s COVID Commander Jeroen Weimar saying interviews were ongoing with a further update due to follow.
