Article content An abandoned school will soon make way for a new 128-bed long-term care home in Meaford. The former Meaford Community School at 186 Cook St. is set to be demolished later this month. An anticipated start date for the new construction has been set in March. The home is expected to take 14 to 18 months to complete with residents welcomed by mid-2022.
