December 20, 2020 A FEMALE police officer is in hot water after presenting falsified reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test results at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport, also known as Davao International Airport. In a press release, the police officer, who is a forensic officer assigned at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratory-Davao, will be facing administrative cases of grave misconduct and dishonesty because of her action. PNP Crime Laboratory-Davao director P/Brig. Gen. Steve Ludan confirmed that she did not undergo Covid-19 test before her flight to Davao and that her RT-PCR test result had been forged. “She did not undergo RT-PCR test during the first or second week of this month December 2020. No RT-PCR was issued to her this month. An administrative case of grave misconduct and grave dishonesty has been filed against her and she is now facing the maximum penalty of dismissal from the police service,” Ludan said in an email sent to the Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO).
