COP28 chair says 'no science' comments were 'misinterpreted'

The president of the ongoing U.N. climate summit triggered outrage after reports of his claim at an earlier event that there was “no science” behind the aim of phasing-out of fossil-fuels to restrict global heating to 1.5C.
