Copenhagen CVB launches new sustainability guide for event planners Wonderful Copenhagen, the convention bureau of the Danish capital, has launched a new Copenhagen Sustainability Guide. The guide offers a “holistic and hands-on” guide to staging green events in the city. It is an extension of the bureau’s ‘Tourism for good’ strategy. It is based on interviews with organisers about their work and needs. It provides case studies and ideas for how events can set ambitious sustainable solutions on a local and global level. The guide can be viewed here. Kit Lykketoft, director of the Copenhagen CVB, said: “New generations of events and congresses need a much more holistic approach to sustainable solutions. One that engages and inspires participants, exhibitors, and suppliers alike and drives lasting sustainable impact in communities – before, during and after an event.”
