20:03 EDT, 28 April 2021 A man has been charged after allegedly attempting to groom a person he believed to be a 13-year-old girl online, but who turned out to be an undercover police officer. The 50-year-old man was arrested by detectives at his residence in Gunnedah, New South Wales about 8.30am on Wednesday. The man believed he was speaking with a 13-year-old girl, had sexually explicit conversations about acts he wished to perform on the child and sent sexually explicit material, police will allege in court.
