(Paul Buckowski/Times Union)Paul Buckowski/Albany Times Union SAND LAKE – Averill Park High School students will continue remote learning for a third week while Algonquin Middle School students will return to in-person, hybrid instruction Monday as the district continues to deal with aspects of the coronavirus pandemic. The district previously moved all students to remote learning when quarantining requirements for COVID-19 made it impossible to provide bus service for students. Superintendent James Franchini in a letter to district residents Thursday had said that district “staffing levels are returning to a more sustainable level” leading to changes in instruction.
