Coroner identifies victim in deadly hit-and-run crash in Mar

1 charged in connection to deadly hit-and-run in Marlboro County
A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night in McColl, according to the Marlboro County Coroner’s Office.

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – One person is in custody in connection to a deadly hit-and-run crash in McColl, according to the Marlboro County Coroner’s Office.
Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown identified the victim as Tony Johnson.
Officials later arrested Kassidi Daniell Herndon, of Bennettsville, in connection to the incident. Herndon is charged with obstruction of justice and destroying physical or biological evidence.
