Pedestrian killed while crossing Upstate road, troopers say

A pedestrian was killed while crossing a road in Greenville County, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday on Wade Hampton Boulevard (US-29) near Donnan Road, which is about three miles east of the city of Greenville.Sign up for our Newsletters
A pickup truck traveling north on Wade Hampton Boulevard hit the pedestrian in the road, according to troopers.
The pedestrian was not wearing reflective clothing and died at the scene, troopers said. The driver was not hurt.
