4 months ago in Local Photo: WNAX The Corps of Engineers is asking for public input as part of the update to the master plan for Gavins Point Dam and Lewis & Clark Lake. The Corps held a virtual public meeting Tuesday night to begin the process. Zach Montreuil, a Natural Resources Management Specialist with the Corps in Omaha, set the stage for the update.. Montreuil says the plan only deals with the land around the river and lake… Montreuil says they want to hear ideas about how the area should be managed for public uses… The public input phase will be open thorough January twenty fifth. The Corps plans to hold more public sessions next year as they begin writing the new master plan.
