Limerick's Live 95 Search By Live95 News Team via Getty Images The waiving of licence fees and provision of additional space for outdoor dining are part of plans by the Limerick City and County Council to support businesses this summer. The Council will be installing buildouts which will increase footpath widths to allow for greater capacity for outside dining in the city and across the county. Fees for Tables and Chairs Licences as well as street events will also be waived to encourage al fresco dining. Businesses in the hospitality and tourism sector are being urged to engage in the whole process and work with the Council to identify where buildouts can be located and avail of the various different schemes.
