A Kerry County Councillor says he is very disappointed that an examination of the sewer network in Ballybunion is only being done now.
Last year, Ballybunion's North Beach lost its Blue Flag after an analysis of samples led to it's water quality status being downgraded to “good”.
Sinn Féin Cllr Robert Beasley raised the issue, which began 15 months ago, at this week's Listowel Municipal District meeting.
