McDONOUGH â Henry County is one step closer to bringing its judicial functions under one roof. The Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution to allow the county manager to proceed with a request for proposals to build a new judicial center at 143 Henry Pkwy., also known as Red Hawk Park. The 19.5-acre tract of land will allow for the construction of a judicial complex, offering potentially 100,000 square feet of space per floor, a parking deck, sheriffâs administration space, inmate housing and room for future expansion. There are currently three court locations and nine court-related agencies spread out in different buildings throughout the county.
