Couple charged in case of Georgia infant with 27 broken bones A Lamar County couple was arrested for the suspected abuse of a Lamar County toddler. LAMAR COUNTY, Ga. - Lamar County deputies said a two-month-old baby girl is in the hospital with more than 27 broken bones in what they are calling a tragic case of child abuse. Two people were arrested including the baby’s mother and her boyfriend. Lamar County investigators said 30-years-old Jessica Miranda Coffee and 28-year-old Phillip Luke Norman are charged with first-degree child abuse, but they also said more charges are possible as the investigation continues.
