A sign at a coronavirus screening station in a Thunder Bay long-term care home. A pair of COVID-19 outbreaks are finished. The most recent declaration came at Holy Saviour Catholic School in Marathon. Officials with the Superior North Catholic District School Board and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit say the impacted individuals are no longer considered to be at elevated risk. They add there were no additional cases and no evidence of additional spread within the school. In Geraldton, the Health Unit originally declared the outbreak at the John Owen Evans Residence after one staff member tested positive. Since that staff member went into isolation, the Health Unit hasn’t found any new cases at the home.
