New Delhi: In one of the key developments in India-Nepal ties, the foreign ministers of both the countries sat for the sixth round of joint commission meeting that took place in the national capital. The meeting saw the key focus being on COVID-19 vaccines, the border issue, and connectivity. On the vaccine, India assured that Nepal's requirement will be a priority consideration. This comes on a day when Nepal has approved India's Covishield vaccine produced by Serum Institute of India (SII). Nepal wants 20 per cent or around 12 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from India.
