The nationwide vaccination program will be expanded to citizens above 60 years of age (Representative Image).   |  Photo Credit: iStock Images Key Highlights The Central government is bearing the full cost of the vaccination Ahmedabad: The Centre on Saturday announced that more than 600 government hospitals and as many as 10,000 private hospitals were empanelled under the State Government Health Insurance Schemes will be participating as COVID-19 vaccination centres (CVCs). The nationwide vaccination program will be expanded to citizens above 60 years of age and those within the age bracket of 45 to 59 years with specified co-morbidities.
