The Saskatchewan Health Authority has identified positive COVID-19 cases in one individual in each of the following schools: École Vickers Public School and John Diefenbaker Public School. In a media release the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division (SRPSD) said they were informed of these positive COVID-19 test results earlier Monday and communication has been shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school communities. Privacy concerns prevent sharing of further details of the cases in question. All SRPSD schools are currently enjoying the winter break and will be returning to remote learning on Monday, January 4, 2021 as recommended by our local office of medical health. In-person classroom instruction is scheduled to resume on Monday, January 18 2021.
