The metro's craft beer scene is expanding with the announcement that Big Grove is opening a taproom in Des Moines next spring. While representatives have yet to confirm where it will be located, Big Grove's arrival aligns with plans by the owners of the Kum & Go convenience store chain to open a brewery in the former Crescent Chevrolet building at 555 17th St. in March 2022.
