Crash on Pa. Turnpike leaves one dead A passenger vehicle struck the rear of a tractor trailer and was pronounced dead by the coroner shortly after. Credit: FOX43 Published: 11:57 AM EDT May 10, 2021 Updated: 12:55 PM EDT May 11, 2021 DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Update, 5/11, 12:55 p.m.: The Dauphin County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Kevin Hostetter, 36, of Myerstown, Lebanon County. The Coroner’s Office pronounced Hostetter dead at the scene. An autopsy Tuesday determined Hostetter died of multiple traumatic injuries due to the crash, which is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police. Update, 5/11, 3:29 a.m.: A tractor trailer had been traveling west on Turnpike 76 and stopped for workers on the roadway. Another vehicle traveling west struck the rear of the tractor trailer and was pronounced dead shortly after.
