Crawfordsville Community Club Hosting Drive-Through Spaghetti Supper

Cancelled last year in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Crawfordsville Community Club annual spaghetti supper is back this Saturday as a drive-through event.
Club Vice President Karen Dennler says they’re ready to feed about 250 people from 4-7 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Fire Station. Each meal includes spaghetti, breadsticks and dessert for a free will donation. She says some the proceeds will be turned around quickly for the return of another club tradition, “One of the things the group wanted to bring back is the annual Easter egg hunt and we’ve done that for a number of years. Of course that was a casualty of the pandemic last year and then this year, we’ll probably combine it with our (Crawfordsville) fire and pancake breakfast and do some sort of drive-through egg distribution rather than the (egg) hunt again on April 3rd.”
