Three fire ranger crews were responding to the fire along with heavy equipment on Saturday, said information officer Jonathan Scott with Ontario’s Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services (AFFES). Helicopters also helped fight the fire, dubbed Thunder Bay 65, on Friday when it was discovered by AFFES.
