Under current restrictions only essential workers can do their driving tests and windows need to be rolled down slightly during the tests. Driving instructors and learner drivers have expressed their anger and frustration over the cancellations. Dominic Brophy, who is a driving instructor, says the cancellation of tests comes at a cost: “The essential worker’s taken time off work, they’re losing money there. The essential service is losing a member of their staff.
