Its more frustrating than a bin through law school and heard on and on about things that are hypothetical, may not have happened before we saw today, was a complete lack of anything from this committee on how we move forward with this impeachment inquiry. What we heard was from professors who gave that if you take the event that you havent done any facts and like i said in my closing statement, its amazing how he cherry pick on Opening Statements which give untested material but didnt give anything were witnesses were actually tested. If you release facts you have to taste sees facts and its frankly lost. We dont know which way to go because the facts are not in their favor and the American People are not on their side. When we look at this Going Forward, when is my minority hearing . Date for any committee that cannot deny a minority hearing date. They cannot deny so we are waiting for a minority hearing date. Well see if the chairman is going to like he never said it would do and thats our report from another entity without us investigating it first. We have a lot of questions and none of them got answered by this majority. Well, this continues to show that this whole impeachment process is a total sham. As i asked in my testimony, i said i, quoted the words from nadler himself. Which were a three prong test and he failed to meet his own standards for impeachment. He said that if he didnt meet those standards of impeachment that it would tear the country apart. Mr. Nadler, you and your democrat colleagues are tearing the country apart and stop the sham. It the hearing started with the chairman saying, the facts are undisputed, well he needs a lesson in undisputed facts. The white house is supposed to occur that we have so facts that we agree dog. We stipulate by and between us at the following is true and that didnt happen. He made up what he said were facts and they were disputed facts because they werent facts. Then to hear from law professors. I have enjoyed discussing, debating with liberal professors, conservatives but these did not make any room for the fact that there is a good chance that they were wrong. We had one professor who just absolutely fictionalized what the president said to meet her own statement. Then another said it was so reluctant to go to the impeachment with his tweets from day one merely and then, he wants to go full speed ahead. All i have to say, if you love america, bombers dont let your babies grow up to go to harvard or stanford law school. Not only are the facts clearly disputed, all the pertinent facts but, what happened here today is totally unprecedented. You have to remember, this is a committee that has true jurisdiction over impeachment and we should have been handling this the entire time but instead, Speaker Pelosi didnt trust chairman nadler, handed it to chairman schiff instead and made a mess of this thing. This is the first time in history, its unprecedented, that the minority asked not had the ability to review the undisputed facts and were supposed to make a determination on articles of impeachment and we dont even know what the facts are. We dont know what the underlying evidence is a no one except for two members that are on both committees have seen any of that. He took questions from the counsel of the president and none of that has happened here today. We should have had adam schiff as a fact witness and some others are we dont get that opportunity. What i said in my closing i will say it again one more time. What were worried about is the eroding trust of the people and our institutions. We have to town halls in my district, the people are deeply concerned that are beginning not to trust the congress, not trust our system of justice and they certainly dont trust this impeachment sham and this is the thing theyre worried about Going Forward for the decades to come. Why would he not be the one and testify instead of sending one of their staffers who is getting airtime right now to do that. The chairman wouldnt even commit to i dont know it chad, what he is saying is that he thinks we should have intel people come in and give us their impression of all the hearsay evidence. I laid it out every time theyre saying what was amazing to me, is that they set up and in their Opening Statement and most every clip they gave us were Opening Statements. The problem was, its okay and thats going at their side and will present our side but when you talk about facts being undisputed, these are undisputed but theyre actually contradictory. We have no problem playing themselves in this president did nothing wrong, there is nothing impeachable and he did not do anything wrong. In our committee, when we are fighting with republican justice to get documents, it was amazing, adam schiff when he sat down and all of a sudden started getting documents. Other committees and Foreign Affairs did a great job of documents and only did Judiciary Committee keeps that because they dont know how to sit down and give him take to get documents and find ways to do it.
