(Latvian Public Broadcasting) February 1 marks the tenth anniversary of the founding of Latvia's cyber-defense agency, CERT.LV (Computer Emergency Response Team Latvia), whose task is to monitor and defend state cyberspace on a daily basis. During these 10 years, not only the number of incidents handled by CERT.LV has noticeably increased, but also its international experience and technical cyber capabilities. “From a small team with modest resources, we have grown into a serious force that sees what is happening in Latvian cyberspace and is able to react to these events... we have devoted time and resources to educating Internet users of all levels, because each chain is only as strong as its weakest link, ” said Baiba Kaškina, CERT.LV director.
