By Mike Lennon on May 05, 2021 Israeli cybersecurity testing firm Cymulate announced today that it has raised $45 million through a Series C funding round. The Series C round was led by One Peak, with participation from existing investors Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), Vertex Ventures Israel, Vertex Growth and Dell Technologies Capital. Cymulate has raised $71 million to date, including a $15 million Series B round in November 2019, and a $3 million Series A round in March 2017. Founded by Eyal Wachsman and Avihai Bar Yosef, the company offers a cloud-based security validation platform that helps organizations test their security controls by running thousands of attack simulations, shows points of exposure, and provides remediation guidance. The platform can assess the security of various systems, such as email, Windows Domain Network configurations, web servers, web traffic, and more.
