Newsroom Phil, G3 Newswire · 10:00 pm The Cyprus Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission has confirmed that the opening date of Melco Resorts’ €550m City of Dreams Mediterranean, will be delayed by almost a year until the second half of 2022 due to delays in its construction caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Phidias Pilides, Vice President of the Cyprus Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission, confirmed the extent of the delay to a house finance committee. Set to become Europe’s largest casino resort, the casino was due to open by the end of this year but delays to the supply chain have halted construction.
