As they recover, they are mourning the deaths of their two sisters. On Tuesday, Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward announced that his office filed homicide charges against the 44-year-old woman accused of causing a deadly collision. Elizabeth Nungaray is charged with two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and driving while under the influence of alcohol causing injury with special allegations of causing great bodily injury to four victims. Additionally, Nungaray has prior felony convictions related to property crimes. Two children, ages 8 and 10, were killed and two other children, ages 5 and 13, suffered major injuries, according to prosecutors. The 13-year-old girl remains in critical condition. Two adults were also injured, according to prosecutors.
