Date Time Dashcam appeal after life-threatening collision in Essendon Flemington police are appealing for dashcam footage following a life-threatening multi-vehicle collision in Essendon on Friday. It’s understood a silver Volkswagen Golf was travelling east along Fletcher Street when it approached a roundabout at the intersection of Nicholson Street about 9am on 9 July. The driver allegedly travelled straight through the roundabout on tram tracks and collided with a grey Subaru Liberty that was travelling south through the roundabout. The Subaru was pushed west along Fletcher Street where it veered onto the wrong side of the road and crashed into a parked white Hyundai i30.
