On April 5, Lt. Michael Molnar allowed Hope Field, the daughter of Democratic mayoral candidate Esperanza Porras-Field, to enter Town Hall after business hours and drop off a copy of her mother’s primary election petition form. The incident report, written by Molnar, said he escorted Field into the secured lobby outside the clerk’s office around 8:10 p.m. and Field placed the paperwork in the clerk’s window.
