Delta has been a minority stakeholder in the private airline Wheels Up since early 2020. Delta SkyMiles loyalty program members could soon be able to redeem points for private flights on Wheels Up. The integration would be the latest between Delta and the private airline, of which Delta has been a minority owner since early last year. Wheels Up members already accrue SkyMiles status and mileage points to spend on the private carrier. Wheels Up also plans to introduce as yet unspecified "partner benefits and product offerings to Delta's 360 Diamond and Platinum Medallion members," according to a regulatory filing made Monday by Aspirational Consumer Lifestyle Corp., the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) that Wheels Up plans to merge with in order to go public.
