Delta Variant a concern for some in 4th of July celebrations Natalie Kucko Rochester, N.Y. - Families are celebrating the Fourth of July differently this year, as many COVID restrictions have lifted. Some are opting to celebrate in a big way, while others are scaling back. "It's starting to feel more normal now," said Victoria Budynski of Rochester. As numerous sites across the region were closed last July due to COVID-19, some say the change is welcomed. "We’re not so nervous now to go out and do fun stuff. Last year, we were too scared to go out. We were inside most of the time and now we’re out doing things," said Budynski.
