Deputies say they were called to a one-car personal injury crash that happened around 9:45 a.m. in Arcadia on Thursday. Scott Herman, 48, of Marion was traveling south on Ryder Rd. in the town of Arcadia when he lost control fo his vehicle and struck a tree head-on. Herman sustained head injuries and was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital.
