Board members shared Wednesday updates to their numerous projects that will take place all over Rochester. They are Discovery Square, Heart of the City, and the transportation experience. For the Heart of the City, it’s focused on redeveloping Eastside of Peace Plaza. Second Street was complete in August. But there are four more parts of the Peace Plaza Public Realm Project yet to be completed. Peace Plaza is aiming to be complete by August 2021. Jamie Rothe is the DMC EDA Director of Community Engagement and Experience. She says the project is ahead of schedule. She shares some good news for the businesses that are affected by construction.
