finally tonight, america strong. newlyweds to the rescue. the groom taking the plunge at his wedding. those are newlyweds cindy and zac edwards, just married on an alabama beach. they were posing for these wedding photos when, all of a sudden, they noticed a swimmer desperately trying to make it to shore. >> he's struggling a little bit and he can't get back, he's having a hard time. >> reporter: 18-year-old jamel robinson was stranded. the newlyweds turned to one another. >> he takes off his shirt and he went to take off his bottoms and i'm like, you don't have time. >> reporter: zac, an officer in the u.s. coast guard, knew what he had to do. >> she said, don't worry about your pants, just go. so, you got to listen to your wife, you know, because otherwise, you're in trouble. >> reporter: so he ditched his normal wear and dove in, with bride cindy waiting in the surf, gown and all. >> i got up and she's running out in her wedding dress, i'm trying to tell her to get away, because i know how important that dress was. >> reporter: but it was all worth it, as zac rescued jamel
