Share Ganderbal: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a meeting to discuss the modalities regarding the opening of alternate link road from District Hospital to Qazi Complex Beehama. At the onset of the meeting, the DC briefed the meeting that the purpose of opening of alternate road is to streamline the traffic in the town especially from Beehama Chowk to Towheed Chowk which remains congested during the peak hours. In this regard the DC sought suggestions from the concerned officers/officials regarding the measures to be adopted for opening said road and after brief discussion it was decided that the road shall be opened for one-way traffic from Monday on trial basis.
