Dickson County OKs $1,000 frontline bonus, rezone for graphics company Nashville Tennessean Dickson County employees who have worked on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic will receive a $1,000 bonus after the county commission approved the expense this week. The $139,000 in funds used for the bonuses are from the State of Tennessee for local government’s COVID-19 expenditures. Several county first responders were in the audience at the Jan. 19 regular monthly county commission meeting. "I appreciate y'all being here tonight and I appreciate your service to the community,” said County Mayor Bob Rial following the vote. The bonus would be for employees at the emergency management agency, ambulance service, highway department, and sheriff's Office, which also includes county jail staff.
