Paujule Henry A Coaster bus driver has pleaded guilty to hitting a police officer in the face with a bottle after the cop accosted him about not wearing a mask in public. Leo Mills pleaded guilty with explanation to charges of unlawful wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court yesterday. The incident for which Mills pleaded guilty occurred at North Odeon Avenue in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew on June 4 and left the police officer with a cut to the face. Mills told the court that he had just purchased a bottle of Malta when the police officer told him to put on his mask.
