Nongchanok Stananonth, assistant vice-president of marketing at SLRT, operator of Sizzler restaurant chain, said that with the new measure, 31 Sizzler restaurants out of 57 have had to stop dine-in service, providing only deliveries and take-aways. "The latest Covid-19 control measures including a ban on dining-in at restaurants sound much like the tsunami that caught the eatery business off guard," Mrs Nongchanok said.
