Firefighters from Spokane County District 3 took their rigs to Waterfront Park in Medical Lake and used their hoses to spray families down. The fire district used 2,500 gallons of water in an effort to keep people cool. Spokane tied the record for all-time highest temperature on Tuesday with 108 degrees.
