EAST Wichel Primary School has been getting some furry friends to join in with its classes to help children who need extra support. Its headteacher, Paula Phillips, thought of the idea to have dogs join in at school to make a difference for pupils with anxiety and special and educational needs. She told the Adver: "We have three dogs that come into the school, Luna is teaching virtually at the moment with her owner Amanda Davis. "We have a dog called Holly and another Winston which support students on site, they help those pupils who struggle with anxiety and a variety of other reasons.
