(WWSB) - The Department of Health in Manatee County is seeking community partners for future vaccination events and hopes someone can work with them to establish a place to continue distribution as county officials turn their focus to hurricane season. Christopher Tittel, the spokesperson for DOH-Manatee, said the organization is looking for community partners who would like to team up to find specific areas to dispense COVID-19 vaccinations. “We’re especially interested in reaching hard-to-reach communities, such as migrant farm workers, mobile home parks and others,” wrote Tittel. “Anyone who’d like to partner with DOH-Manatee on this mission can call (941) 748-0747 to learn more.”
