Hopkinsville, KY, USA / WHOP 1230 AM | News Radio Apr 6, 2021 8:59 AM State Representative Myron Dossett of Pembroke says he’s glad Governor Andy Beshear is assembling a task force to address massive fraud in the unemployment system, but believes the action should have happened much sooner. As previously reported, Governor Beshear announced the new task force was created by an executive order. He says the Office of Unemployment Insurance is also working to strengthen security measures, including requiring new claimants to create more complex PIN numbers and stipulating that new claims will only be paid by paper check. Representative Dossett believes the additional measures come far too late.
