(DOST-Phivolcs website) CALOOCAN CITY, Feb. 22 (PIA) -- The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-Phivolcs) continues to expand its Philippine Strong Motion Network (PSMNet) as the agency is set to celebrate the milestone inauguration of its 100th Strong Motion station in Tanay, Rizal on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021. The PSMNet is one of the key earthquake monitoring networks in the Philippines that is equipped with strong-motion accelerographs strategically located in densely populated areas and near active faults.
