DERIDDER â Brig. Gen. David S. Doyle, Commanding General of the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk, will be the guest speaker at a "Veterans Brunch," sponsored by the City of DeRidder, slated for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at the War Memorial Civic Center. The event will be emceed by local veteran Joe Tullier. Area veterans are invited to the free brunch to enjoy a meal, hear remarks from Doyle and to fellowship.
