DENR-CSDEO/ MANILA BULLETIN The widening of the Manila North Section, with a project cost of P60-Million, is now open to the public, according to a report from the office of DPWH Officer-in-Charge (OIC)-Regional Director Loreta M. Malaluan. Meanwhile, District Engineer Lorna Asuten of the Cagayan Second District Engineering Office (CSDEO) said that the widening of Manila North Section consisted of widening it from a two-lane road to a four-lane road network, and this would aid in traffic decongestion in the area. She noted that more motorist will benefit from the widening of the road as this would “promote road safety and hasten the delivery of goods and services within the nearby towns and provinces”.
