Drive to vaccinate people at doorstep launched July 26, 2021 LAHORE: The Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department is launching a special vaccination campaign in five big cities of Punjab from July 26 to August 10 to vaccinate the people at their doorstep at the union council level. According to P&SHD Secretary Sarah Aslam, a minimum 40 per cent population of Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala and Faisalabad would be vaccinated in the special campaign. Moreover, a minimum 70 per cent population of Rawalpindi will also be vaccinated during the campaign. The campaign is being launched at the level of the union council for public convenience. Special instructions for intensive vaccination drives have been given to all CEOs and other officers concerned. Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Secretary Sarah Aslam said only vaccination was the real remedy for COVID-19 and its new Delta variant.
